Terms of Service

Scout Elf GPT gives parents personalized elf ideas, a calendar, supply lists, and printables. It is an independent service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Elf on the Shelf.

You must be at least 18 to create an account. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You may share your account with one co-parent through the invite feature, and with no one else.

Each household gets one free quick ask. The Season Pass is a one-time payment. It is not a subscription and does not renew on its own. It gives access from the purchase date through December 31 of that season, up to the number of idea and printable generations shown at checkout. Extra generations can be bought in packs.

Prices are shown at checkout, and sales tax is added where it applies. A Season Pass can also be bought as a gift for someone else.

Refunds. Because one click can generate an entire season of ideas, the Season Pass is not refundable. Every account also gets a free quick ask to try first. If something is broken or not working as described, contact us at info@scoutelfgpt.com and we will make it right. A gifted pass that has not been redeemed can be refunded in full to the buyer if they ask within 7 days of purchase and before December 1. Extra generation packs are not refundable.

Ideas, elf notes, printables, and any other content the service generates are written by AI. No person reviews each one before you see it. They can be factually wrong, age-inappropriate, or unsafe for your specific child, home, or circumstances, and they are suggestions only, never instructions you are required to follow.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether an idea is safe, and for supervising it from setup through cleanup. Before doing anything the service suggests, you must evaluate it yourself for your own child and household, including, without limitation:

• Choking, small parts, and anything that could be swallowed or inhaled
• Food allergies, intolerances, and cross-contamination, and non-food allergens such as latex, dyes, or fragrances
• Fire, heat, burns, candles, and hot surfaces or liquids
• Sharp, pointed, or breakable objects
• Electrical hazards and battery-operated items
• Chemicals, cleaning products, paint, glue, glitter, slime ingredients, and any craft or household supply the idea calls for
• Strangulation, suffocation, or entanglement risks, including string, ribbon, cords, plastic bags, and wrapping materials
• Falls, climbing, unstable furniture, and reaching for anything placed up high
• Water, spills, and slipping hazards
• Pets, siblings, other children, and anyone else in the home
• Your child's age, developmental stage, medical conditions, disabilities, fears, and sensory sensitivities, which only you know
• Mess, property damage, and cleanup

Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions, age grading, and warning labels on anything you use. An adult must set up every idea and directly supervise it the entire time, no child should ever attempt any part of an idea alone or unsupervised. If anything about an idea does not feel right for your child, your home, or your family, skip it, change it, or stop partway through. When in doubt, don't do it.

By using any idea, note, or printable from the service, you accept and assume full responsibility and all risk for anything that results from it, including injury, illness, allergic reaction, property damage, or death, to you, your child, or anyone else. To the fullest extent the law allows, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Scout Elf GPT and its owner from any claim, loss, damage, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service or anything it suggested, including a claim brought by or on behalf of your child, another child, or any other third party.

You own what you enter. You give us permission to use it to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please only enter information you have the right to share.

Use Scout Elf GPT for your own household. Please do not copy or scrape the service, resell ideas or printables, use it to build a competing product, try to break or overload it, or use it for anything unlawful. Printables are for your personal use.

Supply lists and gift ideas link to Amazon and other sites. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases as an Amazon Associate, at no extra cost to you. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what you buy there.

The service, its design, and its content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, limited right to use it as described here.

You can delete your account any time in Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or harms the service. A deleted account's Season Pass cannot be recovered.

The service is provided "as is", without promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

We may update these terms and will post the new date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado. Contact us at info@scoutelfgpt.com.
